How do you hide a hippo in a sentence? It's easy. All you have to do is split up the word and disguise the pieces by fitting them into other words. See if you can find 'hippo' in this sentence:
'He dined off fish and chip potatoes.'
The 'hip' of 'chip' plus the 'po' of 'potatoes' makes 'hippo'. Likewise the sentence 'How tall a man is he?' contains the word 'llama', and 'Stop and ask the way' contains the word 'panda'.
Try hiding an animal yourself, and see if the other passengers can guess what it is. If you find it difficult working out these posers in your head, then write them down on a sheet of paper.
This game can also be played with towns, colours, countries, peoples' names or any other suitable topic.
